That is actually very pretty. And who hasn't seen hubcaps lying on the side of the road?

I have been picking up hubcaps, and have one that will make a great feeder. Thanks

How does the seed stay in it?

I cut a circle of screen material and sealed it on the top so the seed would stay in and water could go out.

Good idea using the screen over the hubcap...a colorful birdfdr! This would cool with some of those tiny mirror tiles mixed in with the beads, too...for reflecting the sun! (someone shared that idea recently). TFS! Jeanne S.
