dow corning #709 sealant

red_hazard(6a)May 17, 2010

To seal the two halves of the gear casing on my powered walk behind mowever, I keep seeing references to Dow Corning #709 sealant. However, I googled and cannot find it anywhere. Was it replaced by something newer? Thanks

You can use the Permatex RTV sealant available at NAPA and other places.
