Finished my planter/water fountain design for spring (pic)

kentstar(5b, NE Ohio)October 8, 2010

Just have to seal with a clear sealer when the weather permits, and hook up to a pump, water fountain jets, and stones around the base in spring. Can't wait!

Does it look ok? I feel like it's missing something lol...

Looks like you did a great stenciling job on this along with all that prep work! Putting the stones around the base will tie it into your gardens! Not missing a thing ...except being put out there! Nice work! Jeanne S.

Thanks all! I thought about making my own stepping stones to surround the base, but I still need to think on that one lol!
Hobby Lobby sells stepping stone molds. I could use one of the molds, some quikrete, and even embellish them with stones, mosaics, and such. Then surround the base of the fountain with the stepping stones.

The stones around the base would look great. Should be in a Zen Garden. Wonder if you can lightly rake your carpet around it, pretend it is sand, all set for the winter months. LOL If you like it enough you could do the real sand in the spring, outdoors of course.

Your Egyptian theme urn turned out great! It will fit right into your garden. I can't wait to see it in "action."
