beneficial nematodes

From looking at my grass, I do not see a big problem with grubs. However while pulling some weeds a few weeks back, I did notice a couple of grubs. I wouldn't say I have a problem, but has anyone used nematodes and do you think I would benefit as a precautionary method?

Lawns can tolerate a certain number of grubs. Dig up a square foot of grass where you think they might be an issue. If you find more than a dozen grubs, then get some BN.

Or if you want you can use them as a precaution. Be sure the soil is very wet when you apply. They need a film of moisture to move around.

Thanks dchall, don't think I have a problem, but may be worth it to do it as a precaution since they are rather inexpensive.

from what I understand 'milky spore' works well as a precautionary method.
