52" Hustler

andyszeroturnJuly 14, 2014

I have to bite the bullet and purchase a new zero turn.
I shopped for Gravely, Kubota, Husqvarna, JD and Hustler.
The mower is mostly for residential use between 2 and 3 acres.
Price and quality are most important.
I am currently focusing on a Hustler Raptor 52" that I could purchase new for $3,199. I need to purchase new as I am forced to finance it.
Would you give me your opinions in this mower please?
None of the other mowers come close in price and the quality seems equal.

They are all well known names, if the price was closer I would probably choose Gravely. They have a lot of experience in cutting grass.

I am sure you will do fine with Hustler, just remember any mower requires maintenance.
