A beautiful garden of "Junk"

rock_oak_deer(8b TX)November 6, 2012

Over the weekend I visited a beautiful garden of vintage and collected items, it might not seem like "garden junk", but at some point most of these items would have been discarded from somewhere.

Just gorgeous, so many ideas here too.

Here is a link that might be useful: Garden junk on tour.

It was a very special place to spend, it's rare we get to visit a garden that is featured on a book cover and see the same views. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Even though this is very high-end re-purposing there are ideas we can use.

Great stuff! It looks to me as though the gardeners went to an architectural salvage yard and found some wonderful pieces to incorporate into their landscapes.

Many of the things appeared to be European so it must have been quite the hunt for them. We do have several large architectural salvage places around here but these were quite different from what we usually see.

It's very inspirational and filled with ideas.

It's always nice to have some inspiration that's a few notches up from the typical.

Jane, I've posted several more just go forward to newer posts or the home page. None of the others had garden junk as such, there is one with art that is interesting.
