Re-purposed washing machine drums

beatrice_outdoors(6a MA)November 4, 2011

There was a post recently that showed a garden with all sorts of re-purposed washing machine drums as planters. I saw this link this morning in the Waste Nothing group and had to share. A few of them are garden junk style, so I figured it's OK to post here. These folks are VERY creative-I want the fire pit one!!!

Here is a link that might be useful: Fun re-purposed washing machine drums

I love the tables and the peacock.
Wouldn't coals fall thru the raised "firepit"?
It was years ago we got rid of our washer and now have a front loader. If only i'd known.

I know Nonacook will remember, many years ago on the msn site a gal named punky took the agitator out of the drum, painted it purple and made the neatest flower full of flowers ever.... many uses for many parts :) geeme
