Does my JD LT133 have points to replace for tune up?

WapsiguySeptember 5, 2013

My John Deere LT 133 riding mower is 10 years old now and is a really nice machine. It is slow to start often but once started it runs along nice. Does it need a tune up? Does it have "points"? I take good care of it with regular maintenance but have never changed the points. Thanks

They did away with points much longer than10 years ago.
Allegedly, that machine has a Kohler CV-13?

Any suggestion about why my JD is often so difficult to start?

Normally a choke not fully closing or fuel/ carb issues will cause an extended crank cold condition.
