What plant is this

Hi,

I was just wondering if you guys could identify this plant for me. It is around 1.5 m tall and the re are many green fruits growing on it. Also is the fruit edible.

Looks like Strawberry Guava, in which case the fruit should turn red when ripe

Hi
There are several varieties Usually the red fruit is called strawberry while the yellow is called pineapplelol Mine produces in winter. The fruit is good but tiny mostly seed.
Often tend to rot before ripening . BUGS love them so be careful when taking a bite lol gary
