Help Needed...Name my plant

cree_24March 9, 2014

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what the name of my plant is so that I can water it appropriately. I may have watered it too much because some of the leaves are turning yellow.

Thank you for any help

Light starved Yucca.

Here's what it could look like in a warm climate outside.

Could it be a dracena?

The persistent leaf-bases are diagnostic of Yucca, Dracaena leaves drop off cleanly.

no evergreen type plant.. holds its leave forever ...

if it is the oldest.. lowest leaves.. it might be considered a normal late winter thing ...

now that you have the name.. the folks in the houseplant forum will probably teach you everything you need to know ...

ken

ps: i dont see any yellow on your pic.. especially compared to what my very few houseplants are losing right now ....
