Looks like Privet which is toxic.

if that is a current pic ....

i always defer to the rule.. that if the birds dont want to eat a berry in winter.. it probably is NOT edible ...

of course FL is a bit easier on birds.. as compared to my frozen MI ...

Hi.

Mannye posted that picture for me, and it was taken in Houston, Texas.

And the Chines Privet definitely does look like a best match for it that I've seen. Also, I like the rule of if they are still there at this point then it's probably not something I want to eat.

Birds eat privet fruit, dispersing the seeds all over and making it highly invasive. Birds can eat things that humans cannot eat and vice versa. Avocados , for instance, are highly toxic to parrots.
