Is this a form of Dracaena?

LaunieApril 2, 2014

I need help identifying my house plant please. I purchased it as a tiny little starter pot from a grocery store, and it is now about 30" tall! I have tried to research it, and it seems similar to a red-edged dracaena, but not exactly the same as they are pictured. I have had to repot this plant to a bigger pot 3 times as it just keeps outgrowing it's pot! It tends to "lean" towards the light, so I have to rotate it occasionally to make it grow sort of strait. It seems to like a more dry soil, and moderate light. Any help is so appreciated! Thanks! (I purchased it in Arizona, but now it lives in the front east-facing room of my house in Virginia and gets in-direct light)

Agreed. Do you have a spot closer to a window for it? Could be a bit more perky with more light.
