We moved into a new place and I'm trying to identify the garden plants.
Hoping someone can help me id this shrub. It looks sort of like a boxwood but the leaves are long and thin by comparison.
Are the leaves alternate? If so it cannot be boxwood.
Probably Euonymus japonicus 'Microphyllus'.
A closer view would make it easier to tell.
Euonymous with Buxus behind and to the right.
Here is a link to a page of px on Google of various euonymus shrubs:
Pieris can look quite similar; it gets distinctive bunches of small white flowers in spring.
I'm betting there is some of that on your new property as well.
Here is a link that might be useful: Pieris px in Google
Thank you all! I'll take a look at those links.
