What Am I? Northern NJ

Elly_NJ(NJ z6)April 24, 2014

After a hideous winter, the bee balm is coming up. Rudbeckia and Echinacea is sprouting.

But what are these guys?

They look like rosemary, but are not. They are growing where I seeded penstemon last spring, but also elsewhere.

Too early and not right for Spider wort, which is sprouting and looks very different.

Can it be Asclepias tuberosa?

I had the same thing appear last spring. I pulled up most but left some. It turned out to be swamp sunflower. It blooms late in the summer.
