Quote 4 - 6 - 12

don_socalApril 6, 2012

There are worlds of experience beyond the world of the aggressive man, beyond history, and beyond science. The moods and qualities of nature and the revelations of great art are equally difficult to define; we can grasp them only in the depths of our perceptive spirit.

Ansel Adams

A man's face as a rule says more, and more interesting things, than his mouth, for it is a compendium of everything his mouth will ever say, in that it is the monogram of all this man's thoughts and aspirations.

Arthur Schopenhauer

As the biggest library if it is in disorder is not as useful as a small but well-arranged one, so you may accumulate a vast amount of knowledge but it will be of far less value than a much smaller amount if you have not thought it over for yourself.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Politeness is to human nature what warmth is to wax.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Like all of them. # 4 my grandfather used to quote to me, but I did not know who's quote it was.

I like all of them. My grandfather used to say, no matter where you are, start out being polite, but if that does not work, have a plan B in place.
