'Malva hollyhock' is not a single plant. Malva is an entire species and hollyhock is a member of another species but both are in the same family, Malvaceae. But we can't tell which until the you are able to show a picture of a more developed plant.

I hope this is the rose of sharon I've always wanted.
That appears to be the same kind of plant. But if by Rose of Sharon you mean Hibiscus syriacus, it isn't that. This larger plant shows it as being less hollyhock like and more Malva like.
If you like those kind of flowers, you'll probably want all of those plants. Speaking of which, is Lavatera the same thing as something already mentioned? If not, you'll probably want that too.
