I got to think about that, not so sure this is always so
This is a good quote but it would have better if the word Some..had been added at the beginning.History is full of people who have learned from others,not to mention those we've known in our own lives.
Seen from a "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"(Douglas Adams) it does seem so, otherwise why would humans have wars the heavens knows since when?
If he's talking about teenagers, he may have a point. If he is talking about West Point, where war games are practiced using past war experiences, I don't agree with his point.
Perhaps he's talking about some other Galaxy?
