Can anyone ID this plant?
Might be a lily, but what kind is hard to say since their pictures in the literature available to me right now concentrate on the blooms, not he foliage and pods.
Please post another pictures when it blooms, now I am nosy.
Looks like an Asiatic lily to me.
Those leaves are pretty and look waxy. Are they? Why don't you post your picture on the plant identification forum? You'll get an answer pretty quickly.
This isn't my plant; it belongs to someone at the KT. I was sure there was a Plant ID forum here, and I looked but didn't find it.
Is there a link?
Here it is, Good luck.
Here is a link that might be useful: Name that plant
Thanks for the link. And I even did the pic right this time!
I would guess that it's a trumpet lily, such as Regale. Asiatic's leaves are usually a bit more narrow, although that depends on the variety.
Not regal lily....their don't buds stand upright. It's an Asiatic lily, with chlorosis and a low bud count due to being pot bound.
lilium longiflorum, somebody's saved easter lily.
