Hello. How Are You Today?

It just seems like no matter how crappy the work week may be ...... there is always something that happens to make one smile. :-)

Last week we were so very busy. It was pure insanity ! Then out of no where comes a drug sales rep. She was so cheerful and had such funny stories to share with us. I had known her for several years and we have exchanged many stories. She goes to auctions and purchases horses that are destined for the slaughter house and gives them sanctuary and love.

Her latest addition was a Clydesdale mare and her foal. The foal died within 4 days of being rescued from the slaughter but his Mom is gaining weight and doing well. This kind lady went on-line and found a book for me.

'Arnie The Darling Starling' was given me as a gift after she endured my stories about Kramer, the starling. How nice is that? She went out of her way to track something down that she knew I would **LOVE** to have !

That act of kindness certainly made the week worth while.

So ........ What nice thing happened to YOU recently?

Your sweet story (plus the fleeting picture in my mind of your drug rep ACTUALLY being so "happy" because she's "sampling her merchandise").

But that really WAS thoughtful.

Other than that, just every morning when Tater Tot hops in bed with me to snuggle and play a bit (sometimes he'll get under the covers and stay for a while, too)... Always makes me feel special! :)

The one that sticks out in my 1 brain cell right at the moment is Mamabirrd and Horton giving away their winnings from the football grid to well deserving charities of their choice. Very cool.

Even better than that Semper , is the fact that it was you who put the prizes up out of your own pocket and organised the football pool for the benefit and entertainment of the forum members.
A very unselfish and considerate act.
Here's to giving instead of taking.
