not sure what this is

Yakutat_gardener(6)May 28, 2014

I have tried to look this up, but I don't have the first clue what it might be and my searches have led to nothing. It was left to me by a departing co-worker (which happens every time someone leaves). She didn't know what it was either and it never flowered for her, but it never received natural light until I took it. Now it gets watered once a week (which so far seems to work fine, but if anyone has more specific advice I would appreciate it) and has many new starts all of which have a bloom that only lasts about a day and some even have a second bloom before the new growth begins. Once the start is big enough, I allow it to stay attached but also put it in water then once the start roots, I detach and add to dirt. If someone could help me identify this plant I would really appreciate it.
