Reporting back in

anneliese_32(6)June 18, 2011

Well my plumbing seems to be in order, got another iron infusion, had 3 different lab checks by 3 different doctors and nobody knows what causes my problems.

The rest of the week was filled with escort time to my husband's physicians and my posterior is getting calluses from sitting in waiting rooms.

Glad to hear things are improving - sitting in Waiting rooms can be a real drag, did you at least take something good to read?

I would not get near a doctor's office without something to read.

Glad to see that you are back and that the plumbing seems to be ok.
I remember back in the old days when people used to keep rusty nails and plant them in the soil right next to the roots of the plants. Some people boiled the nails and poured the water on the edible plants to help cure people's "iron shortage". I don't know if it helped or hurt.
I hope the docs can find out what's going on with your iron shortage.

Thanks for letting us know. Sounds frustrating, but I imagine they'll figure out what's going on soon.

I do hope they fix the problem, after finding out what it is. I'm glad to see you're progressing, both of you.

Taking my age in consideration, maybe I am rusting out!

No worries, Anneliese. They can do wonders with Bondo these days! (Glad you're improving and sorry you've escaped the hospital only to spend your days in waiting rooms.)

West, that sounds like it'd work awesome... if the goal was contracting Tetanus next time you walked in or tilled the soil! ;o)

jazmynsmom, no, the goal was not to hurt, it was to help. However misguided at the time.
I have a couple of rusty joints, my knee crackle, my neck squeak, I guess I need some WD-40.
