Thought it appropriate for fatheres day. We have a new great grandson, born yesterday morning. A big one, 10 lbs. 7 oz. not sirprised, his father has been called moose since a baby. He fills door when he comes through. Name as yet undecided. That makes ten great grandkids. George thought it was a good idea having him born on fathers day.

Wow! Congratulations to you and George as the great-grandparents and also to the new baby and his parents.

Good heavens! His birth weight is as much as some three months' old babies. Bet it'll be hard to keep him filled between feedings.

I did think that was a good idea, born on fathers day. We have 3 living children, only 2 of them became parents. One girl, the oldest made a career out of the army and had no children. Each of the other had 4 children, 2nd daughter had 3 boys and a girl. Son and wife had 3 girls and 1 boy. Now all grandkids are married, one is a widow at 30, no children and youngest grandson just got married last Labor day.

and mother is fine, she called Leone today and talked to her. She is a tall big boned gal almost skinny but big. I suppose moose children run in that family.

WO@#W! That's a big baby! When I was in the hospital having Joann, @ 3lbs a very tall woman gave birth to a 14 lb. baby - the nurses loved to bring both of them in at the same time.
No incubators in postwar Germany, one just had to do the best - well Joann is still around and strong, so it was workable.
