Looks like wheat

babcia(6B)May 30, 2014

This is a small plant, only 12" high and it resembles wheat. It is blooming right now, but I have no idea what it is. Can anyone help?

I kind of turned the camera on its side to get a closer shot.

I think I just looked this one up in my yard. Could be Carex amphibola. There are hundreds of sedges, though.
