ID for waxy leaf bush (w flowers) & lacy leaf bush (w/ flowers

sizwizz(8)May 9, 2012

I have two bushes I'd like to identify. The first one is a lacy leaf bush with yellow flowers that look similar to roses. (Picture 1)

The other bush is common in my area (Salem, Oregon), and just showed up in my garden so I don't know the name of it. It has wax-like leaves, and has small white flowers on a spear-shaped cluster. (Picture 2)
