Cacti or Succulent?

xfugio2May 8, 2014

This [cacti?] has outgrown its pot, and I want to offer it to my neighbor who has a large backyard, and can remove it from the pot and put in the ground. I don't know the name of it. Thank you! :-)

Not a cactus.

It's a Euphorbia and most definitely a succulent.

Not sure which species. Perhaps ingens, trigona, or acrurensis? Hopefully someone from Cali will help on that.

Beware the sap if you break any stems.
