Could someone help me find out what this flowering plant is? :)

Hello! I have had these plants growing in my yard for the past four-ish years. I got them from a mixed "wildflower" seed pack and they are the only ones that survived. They do fine in shade. I'm not sure if they are annuals or perennials, but they spread by a big, thick rooting stalk. They first emerge with leaves that look like giant blades of wide grass, and then develop tufty, hairy tops from which small flowers ranging in between purple and pink come out. Can anyone help me identify these, please? Thanks! :D
