Several of these are growing along my fence line. You can see spent blooms in the photo. Can anyone confirm whether this is Clethra alnifolia? Thanks.

Thanks. It just puzzles me that it has already bloomed, and I am told Clethra blooms July-August.

The stalks are probably from last year's blooms.
