Thorn Bush

ChefkeyMay 29, 2014

I bought this plant as a root ball at Walmart about 4 years ago. It said it was a Raspberry but I don't think it is. Can anyone identify it?

It looks like a Gooseberry to me.

Yes, gooseberry. Golden current is said to have no thorns.

Gooseberry imo too. If you've had it four years you should have had some gooseberries by now. Unless you have pruned it. There looks to be a lot of new growth and the fruit come on old wood.

Thanks everyone, it does have berries but I could only post one picture or I would have showed them. Funny how someone messed up at the nursery and labeled it Raspberry. Here is the fruit
