Wildflower ID

cpackjr(z6 WV)May 7, 2013

I have two wildflowers that I would like help with. One is common and looks similar to false rue anomone. This one has only one flower per plant and often has three trillium like leaves.

The second one was found on a roadside:

Thanks for any help,
Charles

Perhaps the first one is Anemone quinquefolia or something similar?

Yes, the first is probably Anemone lancifolia (which has 3 leaves,, as compared to quinquefolia which has 5 leaves).

Flower looks like a ranunculus. But I don't know which one.

If so, I could not find it. Do you remember when?
Thanks,

the second one looks some what similar to one I posted recently which was identified as Wedelia . I have no idea if this is the same thing but it might be what was seen recently here.
