June at the Farm, 3

gardenbug(Canada zone 5)June 10, 2009

I quickly put together a few containers the other day with lavender hued plants.

Remember this one (Joey) from our California gal?

Here are some companions:(Note the vehicle in the background? That's a cart on wheels the neighbour gave us. Very handy for moving plants in and out of the garage!)

The wild areas are full of Dame's Rocket and wood poppies.

The chives would blend well with all these colours!

What a wonderful tour of the farm Bug! I just love everything. I'm jealous of all the room you have but not so jealous of the upkeep. LOl I can't get over the lupins in the veggie garden. I can't grow lupins to save my life and you have them volunteering. Very neat. I just love that Victorian looking obelisk. Where did you find that? All is fantastic!

Lol, 'bug ! I thought I was seeing things for minute when I pulled up this thread...I like the use of the tricolor sage too. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to find a place for that and it never seems to happen. And I thought of Chelone when I saw the castors on your plant-mobile ...
