That's true. I feel for these people that just have to be surrounded by people. What will they do when the friends start dying off or go to a nursing home? When they can no longer drive to see someone?

All they will have is themselves. The sooner a person learns to enjoy their own company, the easier life gets to be.

I agree with Albert Einstein, 1879-1955 in one way, it is nice to have solitude in old age. However, I'm so glad I have loved deep, and yes it hurts when a loved one is gone, but it is totally worth it.
