2 plants in muddy area

boredsogarden(8 VA)June 21, 2014

There are two plants growing here I was hoping for an ID on. The lower growing round one. And then the spriggy tall one that is growing in groups. They grow in a well watered/muddy area in the yard.

Thank you!
