What is this plant?

andreww_2009June 11, 2014

Hello all, I found this plant growing in a bed roughly where potatoes had been planted (and done badly) last year. I assume it's a weed but can anyone identify it before I dig it up?

It is a potato plant. Assume this one will do better.

Yes, it's a potato plant...seems strange you didn't recognize it since you grew potatoes in the same spot last year. Potatoes need a good degree of light and fertilizer to do well.

Thank you both for the confirmation. I think this one's already doing better than any did last year. :)
