Two in a Row
Perfect Pie Crusts, that is. My pie crust are always pretty decent, but for some reason these two were just awe inspiring. Oh, yes, they were lard, which I make occaisionally, but usually use a easy, healthy (well, a little heallthier) oil crust.
Now if I can just figure out what I did differently from usual. If I can do it a 3rd time I want an apron that says Mistres of the Pies, or Pie Queen or something.
One pie was blueberry and the other red raspberry. There is soe of the red rasp left. I just might have to have a piece for breakfast.
