Tree? Bush?

boredsogarden(8 VA)June 16, 2014

Waxy leaves and just keeps rooting up everywhere. Is this a tree, or a bush...do I want to keep it?

Thank you!

Are the leaves arranged opposite one another along the stem?

Could it be a Chindo viburnum? or maybe viburnum odoratissimum? They are known for sending up suckers. They form a large upright conical shrub to small tree. Up to 20 feet in the South.

Hard to get a sense of just how large the leaves are in your pic though.
