unknown summer squash

jasperninaJune 4, 2011

I transplanted this from my compost. I originally thought it was a spaghetti squash, but it's clearly some type of summer squash, because it's growing like a bush.It looks like an inverted crookneck or an acorn squash with a tail. ;) Anyone recognize this?

Wait until it matures a little more and it will probably become much more identifiable.
