Please help me identify this groundcover

bbarronJune 15, 2014

I planted three small pots of this low growing plant in rock garden and it took over spreading from root stems. It is evergreen ground cover approx 10 in tall. It has red berries in fall and winter. Could someone please help me identify it. Thanks,

It can't be Ardisia Crenata, The plant doesn't get over approx 10 inches tall and doesn't have but 2 or 3 berries on ends of stems in late fall. It grows thick in a rock garden and sprouts from runners. It is not invasive but I do not know what it is.
