A very fine example of Chenopodium album aka, as Ken says, Lambs Quarters (though that name is not used in the UK where we call it Fat Hen). Crowding out the poor little house plant cowering at its feet.

its big because it is in a garden bed with good soil ... it really doesnt need encouragement .. lol ..

it gets 3 foot in plain old sand never watered ..

weeds really.. really ... respond to good soil ...

do NOT let it seed .. or you will rue the day ... but its not rue ...

The plant is in a pot indoors as far as I can see, Ken.

That doesn't look quite right for chenopodium album - I think it is a chenopodium but maybe a different species. Leave shape is kind of off and the ones I see are usually much paler in color. For what it's worth.

Hi
I previously said the leaves look like Oak, but it could be Carolina Horsenettle

^^The stems are smooth, the horsenettle have thorns along the stem, correct?

If it is Lamb's Quarters...strange that it got to that size and hasn't bloomed yet...

I'd be prepared to bet quite a bit on Chenopodium album. It has been grown indoors and watered heavily. It is thus etiolated and atypical. C album leaf shape is highly variable. C album is a ubiquitous weed in plant pots.
