Housework is something you do that nobody notices until you don't do it. ~Author Unknown
Nature abhors a vacuum. And so do I. ~Anne Gibbons
The first one is SO TRUE!! And I LOL'd at the second one and am in complete agreement. (I don't know who Anne Gibbons is, but I like her.) :>)
I wish I knew who deceided that women should do the housework. Men are usually taller are they not? So they could reach the cobwebs easier!
Women are judged by the cleanliness of the home.
My worth as a human is NOT judged by the cleanliness of my home....if it is I have failed in placing my priorities with a cleaning service rather than a home maker.
"women are judged by the cleanliness of the home."
I suppose there are still some people out there who are shallow enough to see women this way,but hopefully that breed is fast dying out. And another thing...define cleanliness. Is this the same as clutter or is that two different things? I wish I had saved a poem I read years ago which still makes me smile. It was about a woman named Agatha who spent her whole life cleaning her house and of course ended up in the ground with dirt all over her.
