Tiny plant from Indiana garden.

nmushka(6)June 25, 2014

Hello once again!

This mystery bugger was weeded out from a raised bed in southern Indiana this past spring. Just stumbled across his photo, and am still wondering what he is. (Female thumb for comparison). Any ideas, guys?

If it was photographed very early in the spring it could be Draba verna. If there are any still around you might be able to find the short fruits that go with it.

Leaves look similar, but neither this plant nor its many relations had any white petals. Just squished pink flowers..

It was picked in March, if I recall correctly.
