Song For Making Rain-- Quote 9/17/12

kathyjane(z6VA)September 17, 2012

I usually walk where the rains fall

Below the east I walk

I being the Talking God

I usually walk where the rains fall

Within the dawn I walk

I usually walk where the rains fall

Among the white corn I walk...

Among the collected water I walk

Among the pollen I walk...

By means of the white corn darkness is cast

Over it dark clouds cast a shadow

Over it male rain casts a shadow

Among it zigzag lightning hangs suspended here

and there...

Among it is a gentle spray of rain

As I walk where it usually rains

I being the good and everlasting one

It being pleasant in front of me

It being pleasant behind me

As I walk where it usually rains

As I walk where it usuallt rains

I hope I bring some hope... below is from the Drought Monitor's website. It says there should be some improvement for some portion of the country. Still some persistence, but some portion. I'll take it! Wish we'd all get better.

We're supposed to get rain over night and tomorrow; This beautiful poem will surely help.

Well it said we are improving....they lie! It rained today...less than a 10th of an inch.
There will be a lot of dead trees and bushes next spring...not to mention perennials.

Irreverent of me - but where is my blue paint? Memories....

Love the poem though and we really needed the rain.

Not irreverent----he is honored.....
He stole my heart, also....
I was giddy just reading his words...
