Identify Yellow Flower, Maybe Lysimachia?

sustainahillbilly(7b)June 30, 2014

I saw this yellow flowering plant over the weekend at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. An employee (who was reading from a list on her phone) insisted it was Penisetum 'Princess' but it clearly isn't. I thought it might be a Lysimachia but didn't see any of those on her list (and I haven't been able to find one I think is similar enough to feel satisfied with my guess).

Anyone know? Sorry that I don't have a closeup.

It doesn't look like any Lysimachia I'm used to, but there are many different kinds.

I don't know, but it resembles a small version of Galphimia glauca to my eyes.

Yes! I think it must be a Galphimia spp. cultivar. I'd never heard of that one, thank you.
