I told you so!
Yes, there are more flowers to share from The Farm.
These are from today.
This is Clematis Elvan, a bell shaped bloom which climbs through an old lilac:
If you look at it from below, you see the white markings in the centre.
Little Butterfly is a young clematis here. This spring she has green tips on some of her blooms, perhaps because of cold weather.
Marmori is a small clematis for me. I really should give her something more to climb on besides a yew bush.
Margot Kostner is deep pink at first, then fades to pale pink.
Niobe has only a few blooms this year. That is because her main stems wilted. :(
Pamjat Serdsta never has wilt problems! Strong and healthy. (It means "memories of the heart")
Yukikomachi is a favorite of mine and opened its first bloom of 2009 today.
Warsawska Nike is going strong by the barn.
And here's a lemon yellow day lily. It has no name but it certainly multiples a great deal!
This giant poppy is taller than any I've seen.
This is the second year for these shaggy daisies. They're lots of fun I think.
And these 'Becky' daisies came from Woody! I love them in front of the dark smoke bush. In the background you can see the fire pit where DH was working the other night.
That's all she wrote for today!
Time to turn off the hose..
