Harvest (a poem)

lilosophieSeptember 2, 2013

Harvest

Summers bounty
Ready to pick

Squash, peppers
Eggplant, basil
Tomatoes, tomatoes
Jalapenos, chipotles
Potatoes, onions

Apples, pears
Plums, prunes
Grapes for table
Grapes for wine
Flowers for vase
Buds..

Natures generosity
Human toil
Thankfulness

Lilosophie- I love your poem and the pic to go with it- how apt! Those grapes look so inviting...

Right on, lilo. It is harvest season. Your poem reflect that.
