I was picking up garden ornaments and such and on impulse decided to pick a farewell to summer bouquet before the rains:
couple of roses, buddleia and gaura
The whole thing is beautiful and it represents the end of a season.
I'm in the process of cleaning up my gardening boxes, drying some herbs and getting ready for the next season.
What a pretty last chance. Don't have anything but a few wild asters blooming in the yard. Oh, I forgot, a cherry tomato behind the house is still blooming, don't think it will have fruit anymore.
That's my favorite sort of arrangement, so pretty. And I like that mug.
And there is a fire in the wood-stove tonight, sure feels good
