More leaves - sorry

jekeesl (south-central Arkansas)(7b)June 24, 2014

This plant had leaves setting about 20 inches above the ground (structure somewhat like Colocasia esculenta), with larger leaves about 10 inches across. It was growing in dry woods, and the photo was taken today.

Hi Jaynine, and thanks. Arnica is a new genus for me, so I enjoyed reading about it. But the closest Arnica species is about 500 miles from here, per BONAP, so not a likely match. Those plants without flowers or remarkable features are sure tough to ID.
