Dear Maureen-----What a delightful surprise to receive the book in the mail.

One of the most entertaining books I've ever read.

I recommend it to all gardeners---

Title---People with Dirty Hands----(The passion for gardening)

By Robin Chotzinoff

the author interviews people all across the country with different gardening passions---It is a wonderful book.

Again---Maureen---I can't thank you enough for this book.

It was so thoughtful of you andd certainly did cheer me up.

Fondly, Florence

Florence, I'm so glad you enjoyed the book, and I can't tell you how much fun it was to surprise you with something:) Our Carla was kind enough to find your mailing address so credit to her too.

I have my own copy, and it's a book I take into the back yard and reread year after year. The chapter on tomatoes makes me want to find a garden with tomato plants (since I don't grow them) and eat tomatoes from the vine. Same with chilies...Then I turn to rustling and start thinking of where I've seen roses that might root for me.

It's wonderful things are beginning to look up for you, and for Robyn too. But I have to say, it's a good thing you don't have a third hip - enough is enough! and yours don't seem to appreciate being tinkered with. Welcome back :)
