Beautiful spring weather -----Sun.

zeffyrose_pa6b7(6b7)March 7, 2010

It is another beautiful day here---the crocus are peeking through---the sun is shining !--

Yesterday I was able to spend time outside---had fun picking up twigs with my "grabber"---still can't "bend---lift or twist" but I use the grabber which helps----

I'm doing OK--still have discomfort in the left thigh and my back around the incision but I have to remember that it takes longer to heal as we get older--

Hope everyone is OK and I want to thank all of you again for your prayers and kind thoughts---

Carol--hopefully we will be able to get to the shore soon but so far riding in the car is uncomfortable--

Be back later----Bob will be taking me out for another walk around the yard to check on the roses---

Hi Florence,
I was so happy to hear you'd been outdoors enjoying yourself, I think a little sunshine and fresh air when possible are such a boost in healing.

And yes, we do heal slower as we are getting older - you've come so far, don't lose patience now. I sincerely hope any discomfort you are having now is just the healing process, and don't forget those muscles need some time to strengthen again too - slow and steady wins the race :)

Aren't those grabbers wonderful, I still find uses for mine from time to time, every household should have one.

How did you find your roses, any surprises in your garden?

Florence - The invite to LBI is always open - whenever you are feeling like a visit, come on down! We haven't seen much sun lately but it looks like we will be getting some good weather soon. Did you have any flooding in the Yardley area? Take care of yourself!!

Carol----we have been without power since 4 P.M.--thank goodness Bob has a generator---so we are doing OK---during the day----

At night I've been re-reading one of my favorite Rosamunde Pilcher books (Winter Soltice) using a flashlight---

would love to visit LBI but car trips are painful at the present----healing is very slow this time----I remember how beautiul your roses were when we visited you.
