red roses changing the color of other roses

stacy5May 14, 2007

I had a red roses bush planted by other roses of different colors. But the red roses change the colors of the other roses to red. Why did this happen? Was is certain kind of red rose or all roses with red in the color? How do I prevent this from happening again?

The red roses are coming from the rootstock; the roses you wanted to grow are, sadly, dead.
Fix yourself a glass of your favorite beverage and read some of the threads linked below.
