Always too late.

anneliese_32(6)November 17, 2012

I am the one who always is late, not for events, visits, appointment, etc., but if a new store or restautant opens in town, I get there 10 years later, the week after it did close.

Now I never had a twinkie or a ho-ho, oh I was going to get one somewhen, too late again.

Truth is, you haven't missed a thing! I prefer Windbeutel and Schiller-Locken or a good Napoleon

You really haven't missed a thing. When I was a kid... before my tastes matured, I thought they were delicious. Tried a Twinkie as an adult, and it was really gross and fake tasting. Homemade treats made from real ingredients taste the best!

I agree, you did not miss much, except a piece of americana that is way out of date, with it's sugar and white flour and who knows what else is in there so it can last forever.
I bought them many years ago, and decided it was not for our family.

I had a boss one time who loved frozen twinkies. We always kept a few in the staff lounge frig to comfort her at the end of frustrating days.

See link if you want to taste better-than-bought. Oh, and the creme filling is also available ready-made.

Here is a link that might be useful: twinkie baking pan

I love "little Debbie" treats, they are made near here, owned
by a local family and they are good.

Trust me, the Twinkie you never had will always be a lot better than the actual Twinkie you might have eaten.
